Για τον Gene Simmons δεν έχει απολύτως κανένα νόημα το γεγονός πως οι Iron Maiden έμειναν εκτός Rock Hall και φέτος.
Την ίδια άποψη μάλιστα, φαίνεται πως συμμερίζεται και ο Paul Stanley λέγοντας πως "Ασχέτως εάν έχει σημασία για τους ίδιους, το να μη βρίσκονται οι Maiden στο Rock Hall είναι απλά ΤΡΕΛΑ. Η Επιτροπή πρέπει να τους συμπεριλάβει. Έχουν δημιουργήσει ένα ολόκληρο είδος μουσικής. Τι άλλο χρειάζεται να κάνουν;".
