Ο χώρος της μουσικής έχει να αντιμετωπίσει ακόμα μία απώλεια, καθώς ο τραγουδιστής/τραγουδοποιός και κιθαρίστας των Monkees, Michael Nesmith πέθανε σε ηλικίων 78 ετών στις 10 Δεκεμβρίου.

"Με απέραντη αγάπη σας ανακοινώνουμε πως ο Michael Nesmith πέθανε σήμερα το πρωί στο σπίτι του, περιτριγυρισμένος από την οικογένειά του, γαλήνια και από φυσικά αίτια. Σας ζητάμε να σεβαστείτε την ιδιωτικότητά μας αυτή τη στιγμή και σας ευχαριστούμε για την αγάπη και το φως που όλοι έχετε δείξει σε εκείνον και εμάς", αναφέρθηκε στην επίσημη ανακοίνωση της οικογένειας.
